Two Maine Organizations partner to support the health of our construction workforce through "Buildin

Augusta, Maine – The Associated General Contractors of Maine (AGC Maine), in partnership with the Maine Better Transportation Association (MBTA), Turner Construction, Sargent Corporation, Wellness Workdays, and Buildwell Health, is proud to announce the second annual "Building Wellbeing for ME: Mental Health Summit." This one-day event is dedicated to enhancing mental health and wellbeing in the construction industry, bringing together employers, professionals, and experts to share strategies for creating supportive work environments.

Hosted on September 30, 2025, at Camp Manitou in Oakland, ME, the summit will feature keynote presentations, expert panels, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities. Attendees will gain practical tools and insights to promote mental health, reduce stigma, and build resilience among teams.

This event is put on by the industry, for the industry and is a place where we can have some real and sometimes challenging conversations," said Kelly Flagg, Executive Director of AGC Maine. "This summit reflects the shared vision of AGC Maine, the Maine Better Transportation Association, Turner Construction, Sargent Corporation, Wellness Workdays, and Buildwell Health to address critical mental health challenges in our industry."

The summit schedule includes a combination of professional speakers, industry speakers, sharing their personal stories and employers sharing best practices.
