About the Major Achievement in Construction (MAC) Award
AGC Maine’s MAC Award is the highest honor for an individual(s) associated with the construction industry. It is designated for a cumulative or single contribution to the industry.
Who may be nominated?
Any Maine resident who has made an outstanding contribution to Maine’s construction industry may be nominated. This individual does not necessarily need to be a member of the construction industry.
Who will select the recipient?
A special committee of AGC Maine members, chosen by the Chapter President, will select the winner. No nominee will serve on this committee. The recipient will be announced in March/ April and is celebrated during AGC ‘s Fall Conference.
All nomination forms MUST be accompanied by a brief narrative (500 words or less) describing why the nominee deserves the MAC Award. Please include a summary of accomplishments you feel constitute the nominee’s outstanding contribution to Maine’s construction industry. Supporting documents welcomed.
Are you an AGC Maine member interested in getting engaged in a Committee?
AGC Maine Committees meet on a regular basis virtually and in-person at the AGC Maine Office in Augusta to discuss committee items, regulatory/government issues, meet with state agencies/stakeholders, and connect with industry peers. All AGC Maine members are welcome to attend committee meetings - whether just to listen in or to join in the conversation - we would love to have you join us!
