Annual Meeting - At the beginning of each year, AGC Maine members gather to celebrate, connect, and vote in any ballot questions or Board officers.
Build Maine Awards - In the Spring of each year, AGC Maine presents awards to recognize outstanding construction projects and the companies that completed them. Projects are judged based on criteria such as safety, innovation, community contribution, and environmental sensitivity.
Fall Conference & M.A.C. Award - AGC Maine’s Major Acheivement in Construction (M.A.C.) Award is the highest honor for an individual(s) associated with the construction industry. It is designated for a cumulative or single contribution to the industry. Each year, AGC Maine members may nominate an individual(s) for the award to be reviewed & selected by the special M.A.C. Award Committee.
Safety Awards - During the Fall, AGC Maine & members gather to celebrate their industry peers recognized for their exemplary safety record from the prior work year with the NASA program. Since 1926, the National AGC Safety Awards (NASA) Program has been an ongoing effort to offer construction firms an opportunity to evaluate their safety records. The program evaluates their safety record with other contractors according to their size and type of construction work performed.
All Industry Event - During the holiday season, AGC Maine and industry partners connect for an evening of community and gather unwrapped toys for the Annual Toy Drive in partnership with WGME 13 for Maine children in need.
Building WellBeing for ME: Mental Health Summit - AGC Maine is a proud partner of the Building WellBeing for ME summit, a one-day event dedicated to the wellbeing and mental health of workers, hosted annually in the Fall.
Maine Construction Career Day (MCCD) - AGC Maine is a proud co-host of the Maine Construction Career Day, a collaborative event hosted annually in October that provides students across the state with an introduction to various trades. This hands-on experience event includes exhibitors and educational resources from across the State of Maine. It is attended by construction companies, school districts, state agencies, labor unions, trade and professional organizations. In past years over 800 students and 65 vendors participated in the event.
