Request for Proposals – Owner’s Representative Services for AGC Maine Office Project
Request for Proposals – Owner’s Representative Services for AGC Maine Office Project
On behalf of the Associated General Contractors of Maine (AGC Maine), I am pleased to invite you
to submit a proposal for Owner’s Representative Services regarding the development of our new
AGC Maine and Maine Construction Academy Headquarters in Augusta.
As the leading voice for Maine’s construction industry, our goal is to create a facility that doesn’t
just house our staff, but serves as a "home for the future" of our trade. This project is a critical
investment in our mission to support member engagement, high-level training, and industry-wide
collaboration.
While our Building Needs Taskforce is comprised of seasoned construction professionals, they
are volunteers dedicated to their own firms and the Association’s governance. We recognize the
need for a neutral, dedicated advocate to provide the day-to-day strategic and technical
oversight required to bring this vision to life. We are looking for a partner who can balance
professional grit with the diplomatic touch required to work alongside a Board of Directors and a
dedicated Taskforce.
Key project milestones include:
• Proposal Due Date: April 20, 2026, by 12:00 PM
• Interviews: Week of May 4, 2026
• Project Kickoff (Programming): May 2026
The enclosed RFP outlines our requirements for pre-design, procurement, and construction
oversight. We are particularly interested in proposals that demonstrate a deep understanding of
the current Maine market and have experience navigating the unique needs of non-profit or
member-based organizations.
All inquiries regarding this request should be submitted to me directly via email at
kelly@agcmaine.org no later than April 6th, 2026.
We look forward to reviewing your qualifications and learning how you can help us build the future
of AGC Maine.
Sincerely,
Kelly Flagg, Executive Director AGC Maine
